Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 (pyroxidine) is an essential vitamin that along with Vitamin B2 is necessary in the production of catecholamines and the neurotransmitters dopamine, epinephrine and norepinephrine. It is critical for healthy development of the brain, skin and other parts of the body. It is found in chick peas, beef, liver, tuna, salmon and eggs. It can also be synthesized.

Vitamin B6  is also used for heart disease, high cholesterol, Alzheimer's disease, attention deficit-hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), Down syndrome, diabetes and related nerve pain, migraine headaches, asthma, carpal tunnel syndrome, muscle cramps, arthritis, allergies, acne and infertility. It is also used for dizziness, motion sickness, preventing macular degeneration, seizures, and movement disorders.
